The Five Layers of FleetOps Protection

How FleetOps prevents unauthorized access, spoofed telemetry, and compliance gaps across the entire fleet.

1. Hardware Root of Trust

Cryptographic key storage embedded directly in Tracker hardware. Validates signed firmware binaries and prevents physical device spoofing.

2. Secure Transport Layer

All telemetry streams and API calls are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 with mutual certificate authentication (mTLS) for field IoT gateways.

3. Granular RBAC & MFA

Role-based access control ensuring dispatchers, drivers, maintenance, and executives only see the specific datasets required for their jobs.

4. Tamper-Resistant Telemetry

Telemetry packets contain cryptographic hashes and sequential timestamps, preventing replay attacks or retroactive falsification of ELD records.

5. Immutable Audit Trails

Every dispatch modification, route change, and maintenance sign-off is logged in an append-only audit trail for regulatory and legal defense.
